Originally, I created this iOS widget as a concept for a feature I’d love to see included in the official “Ventra” app for CTA.

I tested it using Scriptable, an app that lets you write scripts integrating them with native iOS features like widgets. This allowed me to skip the process of creating an app from scratch and just upload my design and my code. However, while it works well for a local install, each person has different daily routes requiring personalized information on their screens.

To address this, I plan to develop a simple app using the official CTA API (already approved) to request data based on user needs. Currently, the project is on pause, as I would love to make it a team effort. If you’re interested in collaborating, please reach out via email!
