The goal
As a mentor the goal was to inspire and support young learners in discovering their passion for STEAM fields. This required thinking outside the box and connecting with each learner to give a meaningful and lasting learning experience that will indeed spark their passion and the use of upcoming technologies.

The project
While I found myself comfortably settled at InnovationONE as Lab coordinator, unexpectedly, my contract came to an end due to exceeding the award amount for the semester. This encouraged me to join SB allowing me to work during the summer term. Despite initially feeling unfortunate, this turned out to be one of the most rewarding experiences I encountered in 2022. It was a wonderful experience during which I had the opportunity to interact and learn from the campers. However, this experience wouldn't have been the same without Oscar and Daniel, whose inspiration, more than me being an inspiration to them, encouraged me to push beyond boundaries and think outside the box.
